Happy New Year! Like everyone, I am happy to say goodbye to 2020. Not only was it challenging for so many people in terms of their health, but we all had to pivot in our daily activities and lifestyles. I am in awe of our customers’, and vendors ability to PIVOT (that’s my favorite word can you tell?). Instagram, FB live, private shopping, curbside, home delivery, whatever it took, they made the sales happen. I think this year will be another year of pivoting, as we try to settle into our new normal.
I am sad not to be tracking 30k steps a day at the shows, but our vendors brought fresh product and new ideas to “market “and we have it all to show you.
Some highlights are:
Peking Handicrafts – I had a lot of success selling the line at the $10 price point. It afforded buyers an opportunity to feel more at ease bringing in a new category. These pillows are small enough to merchandise with just about anything. They are the perfect gift and have such a warm feel-good vibe. Now, we have a $7 price point and the new Laurel and Mayfair line.
Abbott – the new Swedish dish cloth fixture is very popular. The patterns are fresh and fun. The price point is right on point.
PPD – I’m thrilled to represent this line in 2021. Fresh, fun, quirky, colorful and awesome for your backyard (socially distanced of course) soiree.
Happy to visit your store in the near future or we can meet at our new winters group showroom at Kilburn Mill in New Bedford, MA!
